Sculptures
The art of Paper Mache dates back to ancient Egypt, coffins and death masks were made.  In Persia and
Kashmir, papier-mâché has been used to manufacture small painted boxes, trays, and cases. Japan and
China also produce laminated paper articles using papier-mâché. In Japan and India, papier-mâché was
used to add decorative elements to armor and shields.   And starting around 1725 in Europe, gilded
papier-mâché began to appear as a low-cost alternative to similarly treated plaster or carved wood in
architecture.
Papier-mâché has become an exciting new art for me.   This medium is no
longer just child's play but an honest expression of fun and art.  
I have finally found a way to recycle old plastic bottles and waste paper that
makes since to me.
